KPI

The ‘KPI‘ tab in MataInvetive’s AI is a dashboard that is used to display current processes and trends from the shop floor through the integrated ERP system. It display trends related to the number of hours or time spent on the machines and labor for completing the scheduled jobs with respect to the target time. You can sort and view information/data based on work center, Client, Job Number, Part Number, Tracking number, Technician, Job Status, OP status, Mode, window and Calendar, etc. We also use the input data to display the quoted hours, planned hours, scanned hours and measured hours.

The displayed data consists ‘Job Status’, ‘Work Center’, and ‘Technician’. The Job Status tab shows where the job lies at a given point of time. At which step is the job, what is the estimated quantity to be made and what is current quantity that is ready. It also shows the part number that is currently worked on. The Work center tab display the job numbers, quantity to be made and the number of hours that are associated with that particular work centers.

Job status of jobs running on shop floor

Work center is basically the machine on the shop floor. It displays the current jobs that are running on the work centers, the quantity that is to be manufactured, completed quantity and remaining quantity. It also shows if the job is in good standing (in-time) or at a risk of exceeding the due time.

The last tab is that of technicians or operators, which display names of technicians working on those work centers. It also displays the number of parts they are manufacturing relating them to a particular job number. This helps keep a tab of how many hours the operators have worked and helps in finding the ‘man’ hours in total.

Technicians on shop floor

In the dashboard, we use intelligent AI to display as much information as possible that will help the company to maximize profitability and reduce or prevent delays. One way to understand that is by using down-time analysis that is displayed through a Gantt chart. This chart displays the schedule of the different work centers, technicians and jobs along with the times that are not used so that shop floor managers can resort to intelligent scheduling and reduce down time. The key in Gantt chart shows which character on the shop floor (job/work center/technician) should have planned time, normal operation time, scanned time.

The Gantt chart for work centers displays when the work center was active or running. This can help the manager to schedule the operation times for different work centers diligently.

The Gantt chart for technicians displays when the technician or operator was active on the shop floor versus the planned time or scheduled time for the technician.

The due date heat map shows if the job number mentioned would be able to meet the mentioned due date with green color allocated to probability of completing the job before due date and red allocated to jobs that maybe delayed. This can be used on the shop floor to allocate jobs to extra technicians or work centers that may reduce delays and make it easy to complete the job on time.

The work center heat map shows which work center is being used for which job. This help in understanding which work center is free and can be allotted a different job in order to reduce downtime overall.
